Kilat runs on servers from more than one cloud provider, grouped by region. You choose the region; Kilat chooses the server.
Regions
| Region | Status |
|---|---|
| ๐ฎ๐ฉ Jakarta | Accepting new services |
| ๐ธ๐ฌ Singapore | Accepting new services |
| ๐บ๐ธ USA | No free capacity right now |
Pick the region closest to your users. Live capacity is also shown on the status page and in the deploy form.
How placement works
- Each plan reserves a fixed amount of RAM and CPU on a ready, healthy server in your chosen region.
- A region can fill up. When it does, choose another region or check back later; Kilat never overbooks a server.
- A service stays in the region where it was created. Moving regions means deploying a new service.
Why multi-cloud
Because servers from different providers join the same platform, Kilat can add capacity where customers need it without tying your apps to one provider. You never deal with the provider directly: billing, deployment, and support all happen in Kilat.
