Hermes Agent is an open-source AI agent with a web dashboard. It is part of Kilat's launch catalog.

Before you deploy
- A model provider key. Hermes uses your own model provider account. Model usage is billed by your provider, not by Kilat.
- A Nous Portal dashboard registration. The deploy form asks for its OAuth client ID (it starts with
agent:).
Setup
- Deploy Hermes Agent from the catalog and enter your OAuth client ID.
- When the service is running, add the callback URL shown on the service page,
https://<your-service>.kilat.host/auth/callback, to your Nous Portal registration. - Open your service address and sign in to the Hermes dashboard.
- Connect your model provider in Hermes, or set its key in the Environment tab and recreate the service.
If you change the service's primary address later, update the callback URL in your registration too.
Keys and safety
Agents can run tools and code you ask them to. Use a separate model key for each service with a spending limit, keep unrelated production credentials out of the agent, and rotate keys after deleting the service.
