Why Kilat exists
Across Indonesia, many businesses still run on WhatsApp chats, spreadsheets, and notebooks. Apps and AI agents can now answer customers, keep records, and handle the daily admin. Getting them online, though, still means choosing a cloud, then servers, Docker, DNS, and card-only billing. That is where most small businesses stop.
Kilat.host removes that step. We are a platform-as-a-service that runs on servers across multiple cloud providers: pick an app or an AI agent, choose a region, pay from an IDR wallet with QRIS, and it runs, with HTTPS, persistent storage, and your own domain.
What we build
- Multi-cloud by design. Servers from different cloud providers join one platform, so apps deploy to whichever region suits your customers, and capacity grows without tying you to a single provider.
- AI-agent ready. AI agents run with reserved RAM and CPU, connected to the model provider you choose.
- Ready-to-run apps. Backends and business apps deploy in one step, giving a business a real database, accounts, and file storage that people and agents can both use. Our launch catalog starts with Hermes Agent and PocketBase and grows with what customers need.
- MCP built in. Every workspace has an MCP endpoint, so AI assistants and MCP clients can check and operate your services in plain language.
- Local by default. QRIS payments, IDR pricing, .id domains, and servers in Jakarta, Singapore, and the USA.
Our goal is simple: an owner should be able to describe what they need, to us or to their AI assistant, and have Kilat run it on the right cloud.
Founder
Azmi Muwahid founded Kilat.host in 2026. He is a senior software engineer with 6+ years of remote product engineering for teams across Southeast Asia and international clients, through Toptal and Turing. He has shipped AI workflows in production, from turning mentoring sessions into structured notes to AI-generated storefronts for local food businesses, and he runs cloud infrastructure for a living.
He also wrote the open-source QRIS and USDT payment libraries that Kilat runs on. Kilat.host brings that experience together: multi-cloud infrastructure, AI agents, and payments that work for Indonesian businesses.
